R-O-R

The etymology of R-O-R begins with the ether, the origin of all things, and we borrowed the name from the symbol for the chemical element ‘ROR’, which is a homophone of ether. Our upcoming furniture, objects, and lighting will be about reinterpreting materials, and we wanted to capture the idea of starting from a pure, raw, unprocessed state. We thought it made sense to use the old office as a place to celebrate the birth of the new brand, as the space is steeped in Studio Viind's history. We utilized a media wall to efficiently showcase the space in a limited amount of space. Three screens showcase past projects, our thoughts on R-O-R, and stories about mushrooms. The inner shelves display products that reinterpret the use of materials, which can be said to be the direction of R-O-R. If you enter the space to the right of the shelves, you can see the idea wall, where you can glimpse the materials and thoughts that we have developed over the past five years.
